ABSTRACT
This
project is considered with the significance of the management in the role of
multinational company in manpower development. The management are faced in the
generalization that there is a basic shortage of skilled and executive-manpower
also there is an inconsistent and unsystematic manner of training.
This
research work looks into the problems of role of multinational company in
manpower development. In this research primary and secondary data were utilized
while chi-square was used to analyzed the data collected. However, it was found
that management have not able to achieve the desire result of developing
manpower resources readily for use at its disposal.
The
conclusion is on the economic development for the company which are anchored on
efficient planning and development of the human resources. Therefore, it is my
hope that this research will help the Unilever Nigeria Plc and on how to
improve its manpower capacity.
